The British Computer Society
Recursive designed specified tendered and project managed the enitre AV and IT infrastructure systems in the British Computer Society’s HQ located near London’s embankment.
After an initial site visit to discuss the requirements with the BCS it became apparent that it would not matter how much technology was installed within the spaces there was a fundamental problem with the spaces requiring a technology refresh. The acoustics and lighting within the spaces were both well below what would be acceptable for a conferencing centre of the 21st century and it would not matter how much new technology was installed it would have always fallen below par.
Recursive have recently completed a project for the British Computer Society which involved the development of several spaces which included a 4 way divisible multifunctional space with some very challenging acoustics. We helped the BCS with all elements of their project including the managment of Power, Data, lighting, lighting control and of course AV
